How it works

AvenoraCall is a daily AI-powered phone call for your elderly parent. You sign up, your parent's phone rings every morning, they have a warm conversation, and you get an instant summary. Here is the full step-by-step.

1

You sign up and add your parent's phone number

Create your account, add your parent's phone number (any phone — landline, flip phone, or smartphone), and choose their preferred language. Your parent does not need to do anything.

Setup takes about 2 minutes. No app install on your parent's end.

2

You set a preferred call time and customize questions

Choose what time your parent prefers their morning call. Customize the wellness topics — medication, meals, sleep, mood, pain — or use our default wellness conversation flow.

Most families keep the default and let the AI adapt naturally over time.

3

Our AI calls your parent every day at that time

Every single day, at the time you set, AvenoraCall calls your parent. The phone rings, they pick up, and a warm, natural conversation begins. To your parent, it feels like a friendly person checking in.

The call happens at the same time every day. Consistency matters for elderly routines.

4

The AI has a warm, natural conversation

The AI chats with your parent about how they are feeling, whether they slept well, if they took their medication, what they ate, and their general mood. It is not a robotic questionnaire — it is a flowing conversation.

Check-in calls are 1-2 minutes. Check-in Plus calls are around 5 minutes and include news, jokes, or trivia.

5

You receive an instant summary via SMS and email

Within minutes of the call ending, you get a brief, clear summary: how your parent sounded, what they mentioned, whether they took medication, their mood, and any concerns the AI flagged.

The summary is in your preferred language — even if the call happened in a different language.

What happens if...

What if my parent doesn't answer?

AvenoraCall tries up to 3 times, spaced a few minutes apart. If your parent still does not answer after 3 attempts, you receive a notification so you can follow up yourself.

What if my parent mentions an emergency?

If the AI detects concerning phrases — a fall, chest pain, confusion, dizziness, trouble breathing — you receive an immediate SMS and email alert with context. You can then call your parent, a neighbor, or emergency services.

What if my parent speaks Spanish (or another language)?

AvenoraCall supports 15 languages. The call happens in your parent's language. Your summary arrives in your preferred language. No translation apps needed.

What if my parent has a landline?

It works perfectly. AvenoraCall calls standard phone numbers — landline, mobile, flip phone, smartphone. No internet, no app, no device required on your parent's end.

Privacy and data

No recordings stored

We do not store audio recordings of the conversation. The call is processed in real time to generate a brief text summary, and the audio is discarded.

No protected health information (PHI)

AvenoraCall is not a medical device. We do not collect, store, or transmit protected health information. Summaries contain general wellness observations, not medical data.

You control all data

You can view, export, or delete your data at any time. If you cancel your account, your data is deleted. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
